MISA Poetry Night (Tavallodi Digar)
Dedicated to Forough Farrokhzad
Dear MISA members:
McGill Iranian Student Association (MISA) will be holding a poetry night at McGill on February 18th, 2009.
This program, entitled “Tavallodi Digar”, is dedicated to the renowned Iranian poet “Forough Farrokhzad”. The focus of the night will be centered around various aspects of her work.
A documentary on Forough’s life and work, entitled “Sard-e Sabz”, will also be screened. Refreshments and snacks will also be available.
This event will be the fifth in a series of events held by MISA entitled: “Cultural Night at McGill”. In future, our program will also touch upon other arenas of arts and culture like cinema and history.
